Heyyyyyy honeybees🐝✨,

Today I thought I’d review Benefit’s newest mascara Roller Lash. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers use it and rave about it and I think it’s taken me longer than most to warm towards it so I thought I’d share my experience and thoughts.

I managed to get myself a mini-sized version of it in one of my You-Beauty boxes that I order every month. As soon as I ordered it I was so excited for it to arrive following all the hype that had been going on.

My first application was terrible. And so was my second and third. I found it just completely clumped my eyelashes. I think I was running it too deep into my lashes – the reason being that I did that was because I read that the brush had a patented design to help curl your lashes more.. So I was trying to see if it was making them curl haha.

After a month of testing different ways to use it I’m eventually happy with how it applies and looks on. First off I apply Benefit’s Bad Gal lash which helps to separate my lashes and provide them with almost a base I guess. And then I go ahead and lightly apply the Roller Lash.

Even though I currently use it (along with the bad gal underneath), it’s not something that I can see myself buying again. I want a mascara that I don’t have to worry about it clumping without using other products so unfortunately I don’t think this is the mascara for me.

What mascara do you wear that’s your favourite? I’m on the hunt for a new mascara to try so I’d love to hear what ones you find work best 😁
